Eugen Stanissa
Member of the Supervisory Bord
Mr. Stanissa graduated in 2013 from the Višnjan College of Business and Management, where he earned a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Economics, majoring in Tourism Management. He began his professional career in the hotel industry in 2000 as a cook at the Valamar Zagreb Hotel. Thanks to his dedication, expertise, and continuous professional development, he quickly advanced to more responsible positions. From 2004 to 2007, he served as a kitchen shift leader at the Valamar Diamant Hotel, after which he took over the role of assistant head chef at the Valamar Tamaris Hotel from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2016, he successfully led the kitchen of the Valamar Diamant Hotel as head chef, and held the same position at the Valamar Zagreb Hotel from 2016 to 2020.
In 2020, he was appointed executive chef at the Valamar Parentino Hotel, where he is responsible for kitchen operations, team management, culinary concept development, and ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. He continuously builds upon his professional knowledge. In 2006, he passed the master craftsman exam in Pula and earned the title of Master Chef. In 2018, he completed mentor training in Zagreb, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the University of Zadar. Beyond his work in the hotel industry, he has also passed his experience on to future generations of hospitality workers. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as an external expert associate at the “Antun Štifanić” Hospitality and Tourism High School in Poreč.
Since August 15, 2022, he has served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Imperial Riviera d.d. as a employee representative. He was appointed to this position by the Company’s Works Council for a four-year term. Over more than two decades of work, he has built rich professional experience in the fields of hospitality, gastronomy, and human resource management. He particularly stands out in organizing hotel kitchens, employee development, implementing high quality standards, and improving business processes in the hospitality industry.
