Franz Lanschützer

Member of the Supervisory Board

He was elected as a member of the Supervisory Board of Imperial Riviera d.d. for the first time in May 2022. He earned his MBA degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and his PhD from the University of Budapest. He has gained extensive experience in the fields of corporate finance and asset management in Central and Eastern Europe. Dr. Lanschützer is a Managing Partner at EPIC Goldscheider und Wurmbock Unternehmensberatungsgesellschaft m.b.H. in Vienna. For the past thirty years, Dr. Lanschützer has been active in the field of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate finance, providing advisory services in Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, and other countries of the former Yugoslavia.

He also founded and managed privatization investment funds in the Czech Republic and Croatia. Prior to joining EPIC, Dr. Lanschützer held management positions at major financial advisory and auditing firms, such as Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse. Since 1999, he has also held executive positions within the Valamar Group, including the roles of Chief Executive Officer and President of the Management Board of Valamar Grupa d.d. (2011–2014).

From June 2015 to June 2023, he served as the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Valamar Riviera d.d., and as of June 28, 2023, Franz Lanschützer was appointed as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Valamar Riviera. In addition to his role as a member of the Supervisory Board of Imperial Riviera d.d., Mr. Lanschützer also serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Imperial Riviera d.d.
